Calgary

Known as the Country Bar for Students during the school year and “The Most Fun You Can Have With Your Boots On”, Cowboys Calgary is really one of the best clubs to go and dance. T Huge floor, young lively crowd and good music (You can expect line dancing around midnight!) This venue also hosts some amazing live music or events throughout the year. They have different themed nights each with their own drink specials, and if you get tired of the loud music, you can easily go outside of the dance hall to either one of two restaurants, or try your luck in the casino! Cowboys also is one of the most popular bars during “The Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth” as the organizers create a 10-day music festival line up in conjunction with the Calgary Stampede.

Ranchman's Cookhouse & Dancehall

47 Years that this legendary bar has been kicking around, and for good reason. As the' slogan goes… “Ranchman’s, Where Real Cowboys Hang Their Hats”. This place is truly the real deal. From all the memorabilia, great sized dancefloor and stage, and of course a mechanical bull. If your hungry, the food and table service is impressive too! This dancehall also hosts legendary artists and up-in-comers on their stage! Live music at Ranchman’s is a weekly occurrence. Ranchman's Cookhouse & Dancehall has also won the CCMA - Country Club of the Year 11 times!

King Eddy

Want to feel nostalgic? Located next door to Studio Bell, the King Eddy is one of Calgary’s best restaurants, bars, and live music venues. The building is also one of the city’s oldest blues venues (more on that later) and home to the National Music Centre’s offices, a radio station, and the world’s first mobile recording studio, the Rolling Stone Mobile Studio. After all that information, why wouldn’t you want to see this #YYC Gem? The King Eddy is a big supporter of local live music, so their stage schedule is always full and it’s guaranteed your belly will be full after one of their delicious meals!

Knoxville's Calgary

One of the newest Country bars/nightclubs in #YYC, Knoxville’s Calgary hosts student night specials and your favorite Top 40/Country hits all night long! (Knox is known for hosting more of a younger crowd)This nightclub truly goes back in forth from Country, to pop, to rap. You’ll even notice above the dancefloor a bejeweled/glittered cowboy hat acting as a disco ball! Knoxville’s hosts both DJ sets, local acts, and a music competition called Project Wild.
